Reading the Report
How to Read Skin Analysis Scores and Results
A SkinDX report contains a lot of information, but you do not need to read everything at once. Start with the summary, review areas of attention, then open relevant visualizations and guidance.

1. Start with Summary
The top of the Sample Report shows overall score, skin age, hydration, and wrinkles, followed by uploaded photos, quality indicators, score summaries, and key highlights.
A higher score generally represents a better result on that specific scale, but always read the label and explanation. Different parameters should not be compared by number alone.
2. Open Score Details
- Hydration and visible dehydration areas.
- Sebum or oil intensity by zone.
- Pores, comedones, blemishes, pigmentation, sensitivity, and texture.
- Fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles.
- Skin type, ITA color classification, and hue.

3. Use Area Analysis and Skin Concerns
Area Analysis groups information by facial region, such as the T-zone, cheeks, forehead, eyes, or jawline. Skin Concerns groups related outputs so you do not need to find each metric manually.
4. Match the number with Visualization
Visualization answers “where is it?”. Compare the original and overlay, select an analysis layer, and adjust transparency when available. Rectangles mark local findings; masks show broader coverage.

5. Treat AI Review as guidance
AI Review summarizes major patterns and may suggest a general morning or evening routine. Check product suitability, patch-test, and do not interpret it as a prescription.
Use History and Progress to observe patterns across several reports rather than making a major decision from one session.
Important note
SkinDX provides visual analysis for cosmetic and educational purposes. Results are not a medical diagnosis and do not replace consultation with a doctor or healthcare professional.
